How many of you will say this to yourself whenever it's a new year?
"A new year, a new me."
Alright, so now that i'm done posting about the Korea trip, i'll talk about how i spent my christmas eve and new year's eve.
OBVIOUSLY, WHO ELSE BETTER THAN TO SPEND IT WITH MY DEAREST NYVB?!
Hehehehehe.
So, for christmas eve, we spent the night at my house!
The standard steamboat, poker, slapjack, murderer and mahjong sessions.
BUT SADLY, i had eye infection that day, so it was a very tough and terrible night for me, having to ton the whole night because it kept tearing and it was so freaking swollen.
My eye was just red, swollen and i had blurred vision.
But somehow, i managed to survive it all the way to the next morning.
The whole group of at least 15 people left at 7 plus and after sending them off, i slept all the ay till 1pm before waking up to STILL find my eye red. swollen and blurred.
In addition, i had a small white spot on my pupil.
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW FUCKING SCARED I WAS THAT I WAS GOING TO GO BLIND.
So daddy and mommy immediately drove me to the doctor's to have it checked out.
THANK GOD. IT WAS JUST A SERIOUS EYE INFECTION.
So i received some poisonous eye drop and antibiotics and paid the bill of $135...
Heyyy, it was public holiday. Hence the crazy amount.
Then went home to rest and headed out for christmas dinner.
I was practically blind the whole night and didn't dare to look at people in the eye...
....
Alright, now moving on to new year's eve.
We had training on 31/12/12...
so after which, the girls team headed to Marina to catch the fireworks!
It was quite a mad rush because we only managed to reach marina square at 11 and grab Mac at 11.23.
Because of the crowd, we were forced to takeaway and have our dinner on the second level of Marina Square looking at the people below taking pictures with the christmas tree...
And I, STUPIDLY, BOUGHT MCSPICY WHICH I KNEW WAS TOO SPICY FOR ME.
I WANTED TO CHALLENGE MYSELF....
WHAT.A.FOOL.
IT WAS SO FREAKING SPICY I TEARED AT EVERY BITE AND I COULD FEEL MY EARS BURNING UP..
WORSE OFF, I CHOKED DURING A BITE.
Can you imagine? I laughed and cried at the same time because it was so dumb of me to even buy that in the first place.
All in all, it was a painful meal for me....
So after the torturous meal, we headed out at 11.45 to catch the fireworks.
It was quite crowded but somehow we managed to squeeze into the front.
Then, we started counting down and the fireworks started!!!!!
It was so beautiful...
Because we were at the front, it looked as though it was a giant cinema screen!
A great experience for me because i had never counted down live with a crowd before.
The past 16 years was spent counting down at home on TV.....
Yes, i am a lonely girl.
Really enjoyed the last day of 2012 and best of all, i spent it with my lovely babes <3
